Amy is currently open for portrait commissions. Using her signature style she creates emotionally charged artworks that are unique and contemporary.
Amy works in collaboration with her sitters to incorporate text as the starting point of her portraits. Previous commissions have included hand-written, song lyrics, poetry and birthing stories. The resulting artworks are incredibly personal and meaningful. Her artworks are described as beautiful, delicate and moving.
To ensure the finished artwork aligns with her creative process, Amy works from source imagery she creates. Amy is a skilled portrait photographer with over 10 years experience. The fee for her artworks includes a sitting (in the Perth metro area) to create source imagery to draw from. (Amy will consider working from existing imagery but this may incur an additional fee). Amy currently offers pencil portrait commissions in two sizes on archival quality paper.

All comissions are unframed. The artworks may be framed at the framer of your choice; but her preferred framers are Arts Edge in Joondalup. Amy has established a strong working relationship with Arts Edge, she finds their expertise and skill ensure a superior finish that both protects and presents the artworks flawlessly. Having framed many of her works, they know instinctively which frames will complement both the artwork and the space it will be presented in.
